Thunderbird 52.6 has started crashing repeatedly on my Win10 machine. A whole slew of crash reports have been filed, with bp-08729b14-9a4c-410f-8988-218660180228 being a good example. It appears to be a bug manifesting itself in ComputeCrc32?
I moved my profile to another Win10 machine as a test where it seems to work fine. I completely uninstalled Firefox (64-bit) and Thunderbird from this machine and then re-installed Thunderbird but the crashes persist.
Many (but not all!) of the crash reports summarized here seem to be me:
I'll be happy to provide any other info or test anything desired to help get this problem resolved.

The crash is in dwrite.dll driver.
Have a look at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1116885 and your settings for hardware acceleration. Do you find a solution?
