My phone has stopped deleting emails from my laptop.
My phone has been deleting emails from my mozilla account and removing them from my laptop. Although I can still delete from my phone they don't delete from my laptop. This system has been working for years and I've only just noticed the problem. I normally use my phone for this so I have about 3 months worth of emails still on the laptop.

Hello again David Since I posted around 10 mins ago my phone has started to delete emails from the laptop. I've tried single and multiple deletions on the phone and they all delete from the main pc/laptop. It's a bit of a mystery but, on the principle of - if it ain't broke don't fix it - I'm going to post it as solved. Thanks again for your prompt. Regards Brian

Check the online account to confirm that the messages are being deleted. If so, then the PC is likely a POP setup that is downloading and leaving on server. A check of the setup will clarify this.
Hi David. Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately it hasn't resolved the problem. I have 2 email accounts, both of which are IMAP Mail Servers. This has been the case for many years now. It's only in the last few months that deleting emails from my phone hasn't deleted them from the laptop. Nothing has changed as far as I know. Maybe there's been a recent Mozilla update (which I probably will have applied). 🤔
