How does FF Updating Work?

It says that FF updates itself. But I have all this diverging information coming at me. Consider this. Glary Utilities( I installed this utility minutes ago) Updater detects a Mozilla FF 36.0 beta 2 update. Secunia says all programs are up to date (?). Meanwhile my "about FireFox" says that I have version 35.0 Mozilla FireFox EU , euballot 1.1. FireFox is being updated by another instance (Glary?)

So how does this work?. Will FF update itself or do I have to do this manually. Well clicking on the download button of Glary's.

Thanks.
