My firefox just stops working but it doesnt say program not responding, and i try and click nothing works

So when firefox just stops working like in the title it doesnt say program stop working would you like to wait for program or close i dont get that, so i try to click the x nothing so then i right click firefox on the start menue and click close firefox and nothing and i cant get it to do anything close or nothing and the only way i can fix it is to restart my computer and its getting annoying to have to restart my computer 4 or 5 times

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
