Notes:

  • "Views" > Sort is temporary.
  • Sort By Name works per folder. Only the highlighted folder gets sorted. The sub-folders below the highlighted folder don't get sorted; that would need to be done with each folder highlighted by itself.
  • The Sort Order is alpha-sorted Folders first, followed by alpha-sorted "loose" bookmarks. iirc they don't intermix by alpha-sort order
