Mulongo oyo etiyamaki na archive. Tuna motuna mosusu soki osengeli na lisalisi

I was happily using TB 60.2.1 and had been for years. Then 68 came out and I mistakenly upgraded. How can I go back to 60.2.1 and recover everything I had working at that time. I have Time Machine.

After getting prompted that there was a new update 78, I downloaded it and installed it. Then everything went very bad. I need to go back to TM 60.2.1 on Catalina 10.15.7.

I have the .dmg file to install it. When I did this and try to run thunderbird.app I get the message that another copy of TB is running, but that is not the case. There is no other TB running.

Please help!

Forgot to say I'm running Catalina 10.15.7

(You also posted https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1314952 - but let's continue here)

Updating to version 78 makes changes to filters and other items, such that getting back to the old version is going to be very painful.

You could stay on 78, and your filters should work, if your Local Folders was properly connected.

You'd need to provide details about your filters and setup.

Thanks Wayne. I love TB and would love to get it working again for me. Because of all the local folders of emails, I set it up so local folders is on an external hard drive. I used to be able to just specify the path to the mail folder and everything just worked. Then, I think part of the problem is that local folders got put into profiles. I still have my local folder, but I believe it might have been screwed up with some pre and post version 78 formatted content. I could not find anything about this and the one link about restoring local folders on Mozilla Support has no content yet. I'll be happy to send you any information about my filters and setup. Thanks in advance, Bill
