Frequently when I do an Advanced Google search and click on a valid link, I find myself redirected to another non-Google search results with no real relevance to the original search. When I use the back arrow in Firefox, I go back to a REDIRECT page listing a findfast.answers.com URL and the next time I click the arrow it goes back to the original Google results. Then usually the second time I click on the link I go to the listed website, but sometimes I get redirected again. Usually they are non-commercial sites, like government sites, both federal and state. I can't find any programs for either findfast or answers.com in my program listing, both under START>ALL PROGRAMS and through CONTROL PANEL.

This happens frequently -- several times a day.

Who do I stop this? I don't mind loosing access to Answers.com if that is part of the solution.

Thank you

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
