COMPUTER DIED. NOW TRYING TO PUT FAVORITES IN FIREFOX - FIREFOX LOOKING FOR BOOKMARKS NOT FAVORITES - HOW TO CONVERT TO BOOKMARKS
my old computer died. I was using Internet Explorer 11 which saves Favorites. Now that i have a new computer I what to do things right by using Firefox. My FAVORITES are on a Jump Drive. When I go to import them into Firefox is looking for a file BOOKMARK.HTML. I tried to rename favorites with and html extension but that did work. How can I get my FAVORITES IMPORTED TO FIREFOX from a JUMP DRIVE.

Firefox can't handle the "raw" Favorites data. You'll need to get those Favorites into Internet Explorer then Export that data in bookmark.html format from IE. Once that data is in the proper format you can Import that bookmark.html file into Firefox.
