I was using Firefox 64 bit and before uninstalling it, I have taken backup of bookmarks to a .json file. Then installed 32 bit Firefox, tried to import bookmarks, then getting an error message like "Unable to process the backup file". So I tried to add a new bookmark by clicking on star icon, it does the animations by flying the star to the next icon, but not showing in bookmark toolbar or all bookmarks.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

If "Verify Integrity" on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page or Places Maintenance can't repair the places.sqlite database then remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

Deleted the places.sqlite file and restarted then I am able to get all the lost bookmarks, but now the Firefox is 64 bit. I want to use 32 bit.
