Can you download an extension to computer, instead of "add to firefox"?
I would like to save the extensions to my hard drive, when I reset Firefox to default, I have my extension which I can load from a file. Is this possible? I believe these files have .xpi extensions. Firefox v59.0.2 for PC. Laptop Name & Model: Manufacturer: Asus Model #: K53E-BBR14 Processor : Intel Core i5 2450M @ 2500 MHz (Dual Core) DirectX : Version 11.00 Operating System : Windows 7 Media Center 6.01.7601 Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
Thanks, TeeDoe.

Hi TeeDoe, when you are on the Add-ons site, instead of clicking the blue "Add to Firefox" button, right-click it and choose Save Link As. That will get you the xpi file.
I think if you "sideload" XPI files, they may not check back on the Add-ons site for updates, but I'm not sure about that.
