When I click on the Firefox app on my Macbook Air, there a pop-up saying it is "verifying the app" and then there's another popup that warns me that it was downloaded from the Internet. Next it makes me sign in to Firefox everytime. I have been researching how to fix this but can't find anything that works.

Try to uninstall Firefox and drag the Firefox application to the Trash and reinstall Firefox.
