search a pdf in firefox. ctrl+shift+f and ctrl+f do not work

Normally there is no difficulty searching a pdf with a pdf reader. How does one do it in Firefox?

Note that ctrl+shift+f and ctrl+f do not work.

I just did a random search on irs.gov for pdfs, opened it in Firefox, and as you can see from my screenshot, ctrl+f works for me. Can we access the pdf you're having issues with or can you test the pdf I used to see what happens?

https://apps.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/formsPublications.html Publ 1 is the pdf used in my screenshot.

I just did a random search on irs.gov for pdfs, opened it in Firefox, and as you can see from my screenshot, ctrl+f works for me. Can we access the pdf you're having issues with or can you test the pdf I used to see what happens?
