Save as PDF fails
When I try to print, or Save As PDF, the preview is not acceptable, and varies between landscape and portrait. See attached images. I have had this difficulty for awhile. I have been opening up another browser, Edge or Chrome, if I needed a WYSIWYG image. I forget when this began - it's been more than two updates. Thank you.

I was curious to see if my interest was shared with others, or if others even noticed. Maybe not.
Others noticed. And reported it. That's why there is a bug report on file.

Okay, besides landscape and portrait, please post a screenshot of what's not acceptable in Firefox and show the same in Chrome so we can better understand what's not acceptable.

It's Yahoo mail? Firefox has some known glitches with print layouts that feature a table embedded in a table cell. Firefox may insert large gaps, and drop entire pages after the initial page of content. There is a bug on file and hopefully it will get some attention next year (it's too late to see any changes this year).
One crude workaround is my add-on that allows overriding certain page layout features. On the plus side, it allows getting more content in the printout. But on downside, it breaks side-by-side layouts, so it won't look like the original. It won't always make sense to use it.
In case you want to try it, you can install from the Add-ons site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/printable-the-print-doctor/
Because the "print optimized" format message opens in a popup window without the full toolbar, you use the right-click context menu to access the add-on commands. Please refer to the attached screenshots (original preview, using the add-on menu, updated preview). If at any point the layout of the message is completely wrecked, you can reload it using Ctrl+R.
Thank you jscher2000. I suspect your program is useful, but for me, it is just as simple to open Edge or Chrome to get a PDF and/or a printout. I am a Firefox user from ... Netscape. I was curious to see if my interest was shared with others, or if others even noticed. Maybe not.
I have also noticed that many modern web pages do not Save As PDF very well either. I guess the public doesn't care anymore. Or, they just never thought about it. Maybe it's youth. Maybe they think they can always find a copy next year.

Two initially attached files have been deleted.
