The mail site certificate...... is not valid for this server. Someone may try to impersonate the server. Do not continue.
I'm experiencing an issue with Thunderbird that started unexpectedly. Whenever I try to access my email, I get a warning message saying that "The site certificate is not valid for this server. Someone may be trying to impersonate the server. It is not recommended to proceed."
I'm not sure why this error has suddenly appeared, as everything was working fine before. I haven’t made any changes to my email settings or installed new software recently. Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows how to resolve it?

Have you installed Thunderbird V128.1 which was released on the 6th. I contained a fix that is probably relevant here.
After downloading the latest update, it is possible to confirm the certificate, and then emails are retrieved. However, after performing this operation, the issue reoccurred later that evening and again the next day. While I can manage this situation, my client is becoming increasingly impatient as to why the email service is not working.
I have this same issue that started today. Have no idea what to do!
