Hello!

I'm currently running Firefox 11.0 beta 5 under OS X 10.5.8. Every now and then I'll get a pop up telling me that version 12.0 is available. When I click the download button, I get a barberpole and a "Connecting to server" message and then...nothing. The process hangs until I give up and dismiss the window. Clicking the hide button doesn't hide the window either. I'm pretty sure there's connectivity. Everything works normally after I dismiss the window.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Bill

12 version is in beta (12.0b1), if you can not update download and install from:

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/12.0b1/mac/

Ok, found it! Installed with no problems. Dunno if the original download problem will pop up again under 12.0b1 but we'll see.

Thanks for your help!
