Hello, I've been on a scamming site and now it's still suggesting it in the suggestion from URL bar but not from search bar. Everytime i delete it, it come back as suggestion instantly any idea from where it could come ? I've checked on some other Webexplorer and they don't have the suggestion. I've also clean my history, cookie, cache, form. By the way the name of the site is youtubegifts(dot)com also i've checked on everything if it might come from external files and couldn't find any.

So i've use multiple analyser and didn't find anything that fix my problem,

I've search a bit and finished by finding out that it was the database for the awesome bar that was "Hacked" removing it fixed my issues.

So to fix that kind of behaviour you have to remove place.sqlite from your user files in <userName>/Appdata/roaming/mozilla/firefox/profile/<randomname>.default-<randomnumber>/

Thanks for the support

Actually i think that the malware is gone after my scan with malware but the odd behaviours still happen when deleting the specific website it's reappear in the suggestion as soon.

I'll try to remove with the other scanners to check if anything is found. will keep in touch.

If it still keeps coming back then it is possibly buried in the registry and suggest seek professional anti-malware removal help from any of the anti-malware programs forum sites. Is very easy and is wise to do so.
