I can't send any messages.
Suddenly, as of 4 a.m. Monday May 26, Thunderbird would not allow me to send any outgoing messages. Earthlink is my ISP. Outlook.brooklyn.cuny.edu is my web email. The message I keep getting when I try to send a message is "Login failed. Login to server smtpauth.earthlink.net failed." My options are to enter a new password, retry, or cancel. When I try to re-enter the old password connected with my earthlink account, it rejects this and repeats the message I just quoted. Retry never works. I haven't been able to send messages on Thunderbird for 3 days now--yet I can send messages on the outlook.brooklyn.cuny.edu website.
