Link address notification popup on bottom line of screen while hovering over any link. How to turn off!
So its obviously useful to somebody but in annoys the hell out of me. Especially when services like facebook your always typing on the very bottom of the window while chatting with people. If the mouse happens to land on a link, like 99% of the time then the line pops up on the bottom of the screen over the area your trying to type showing the link details. I could really care less and want to turn it OFF ! How to do so?

There isn't a built-in on/off switch but you can use a custom style rule to hide the message. These threads list some possible style rules you could try:
- How do I disable the link address popup at bottom of the page?
- How to move status messages? (force to right side instead of left)
There may also be add-on approaches that are easier or more flexible.
