Deleted messages sometimes reapear in my inbox, when I delete them again, they appear as duplicates in trash.
My main mail server is hotmail. TB worked fine for a long time. Recently it seems that TB "forgets" where it last loaded messages from and reloads messages that I have deleted. (Hundreds of them sometimes!) I then have to delete those again. Trash ends up with multiple copies of those messages. I can't relate the problem to a particular update of TB, but the problem did appear within the last year I think.

usually caused by anti virus programs and their scanning of incoming mail.
Disable email scanning and see if things improve.
Turning off virus checking is not a solution!
I might do so, simply as a test and then if that solved the problem pass the problem on to Kapersky I suppose. It is late and I am tired. If the problem was pegged to some action or situation that I could detect I would give it a try, but lack of an occurrence isn't proof of a solution. It is a path to follow when I have time though.
Thanks
