Cant reset password
My thunderbird email has been open on my computer for 2 years. That computer crashed. I am trying to log on to my email from a new computer and have forgotten the password. I have followed the password reset instructions but I am not getting a reset email link at the address I have entered. How do access the account?

Your email password is administered with your email provider. Thunderbird has nothing to do with your email password. Go to your email providers web mail page and look for a link to reset your password.
I am always curious where this mysterious link in Thunderbird is to reset an email password. People are always trying it and it never works. Would you mind sharing the link to this password reset page?
