All tabs have disappeared; no file, messages, tools, help, tabs., can't get or send emails. I have inbox, trash, drafts, local folders only.
First, I noticed my send button was gone. Now my thunderbird email account is completely non functioning, with no tabs at all. how can I fix this?

Are you asking about toolbars? Press the alt key or F10 to make the menu bar appear. Then select View-Toolbars and turn them back on.
