see www.libertybs.co.uk/clients/dragons

During page loading it will suddenly try to link to /clients/dragons/days and gives a NOT FOUND message.

There is not and never has been a 'days' folder! SO why is it doing this?? It also does it using Firefox if I try a local Preview. Also tried using Firefox 36.01 on a second laptop - same problem.

It does NOT happen on IE, Chrome or Opera - works fine on all those browser.

Am getting increasingingly frustrated at problems with Firefox.

thank you

Like any program, Firefox does what it is told. If it is told to load page; lsij-bleb.fjb it will do so, or show an error.

Anyone from Firefox like to comment on this, as it is stopping the website from being published. The other problem (again only with Firefox) is that I have popup windows from some pages that have a scroll bar....BUT in Firefox (only) the scroll bar does not show/work.

I have confirmed the issue. After the page has fully loaded, it goes to the other page after a few seconds.

I just checked using Windows Internet Explorer, same problem.

Something about the web page itself is causing this to happen. One possibility is the page was hacked.

Thank you - I will try and investigate further.....didnt notice IE becauee it refreshes to the same page after a few seconds. I still wonder why Firefox tries to look for a non existant folder called 'days'?

I found the problem...somehow a meta tag REFRESH had been set to 7 days.

Whereas IE waited and refreshed after 7 SECONDS, Firefox tried for some reason to find a page called 'days'......

No solution to scrolling issue so have had to do a different way.

Thanks for comments.

I checked the page. It loaded, and stayed on screen.

Now, what's this about scrolling?

Thanks - I set a pop up box which contained a document about 1300px long....so set a scroll bar on the rH side.

Didn't work in Firefox although did all other browsers. As I need to get the site published I have removed the popup boxes and done it differently so cannot now view the problem.

thanks again.

Note that your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts. The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.

You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: "Open with"; do not double-click). The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can delete the user.js file if you didn't create this file yourself.
