I've got Win7, Firefox 41.0.2. Things get hung up when I go to "Addons", "Check to see if your plugins ..."New tab opens to "Check Your Plugins", but just spins
The new tab opens to "Plugin Status", but jusr spins, doesn't show status???

Does this link work? Use this link to check that your plugins are up-to-date. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
