I have multiple email accounts all with same server and set up the same. Suddenly I'm not getting incoming emails on one account. Have to close and restart.

A few days ago, one of my email accounts stopped working properly. It is one of 3 that I have with the same server. They are set up identically. Upon startup new emails will show up, but unless I close the program and reopen it, no new ones come in. My computer "dings" to notify me that a new email has arrived, but it doesn't show up on my inbox until I restart Thunderbird. My two other email accounts have no issues.

Please post your Troubleshooting Information. At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information. Press the Copy text to clipboard button and paste the information into your reply.

Also indicate which account is the troubled one.

There have been a number of people who complained about not getting new messages via GoDaddy IMAP recently, unless Thunderbird is restarted. Check with GoDaddy if they have any problems. Assuming there is a GoDaddy support forum, check whether other users have the same problem.
