Facebook video has a strange behavior in Firefox (in Chrome it works fine): if I click on video, it opens in the window anв start playing all right. However if I try to navigate video with mouse by clicking on the line or if I try to adjust volume, video becomes paused and it looks like mouse button get sticky - vertical movement constantly adjusts volume level, so I can not move mouse beyond the narrow band of the min/max levels. Video can be restarted by pressing play, but volume still stucks

I checked add ons and versions - its all updated

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
