is there any way to autoresume a download that has failed, due to loss of network instead of having to manually click the restart button?
I have satellite internet, and its quite unreliable for downloading. Multiple times i have to "restart" a download, and it will resume from left off amount. Is there any way to AUTO RESUME so i don't have to wake up at 3 AM, and then 5 AM to resume my large downloads?

Try these steps to resume an unfinished download when you still have the .part file.
- Move the old .part partial download and the final file without the .part that has size 0 to another location.
- Start a new download and pause it, don't close Firefox.
- Copy the two files (.part and 0 byte final) that you moved above back to the download location to replace the new files that were created.
- Resume the download in Firefox.
If that doesn't work then the server may not support resuming. You can consider to use an external download manager if you encounter such issues often.
There are download managers that can help listed on the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.
Note that some websites have trouble with resuming.
You can use the FlashGot extension to integrate an external Download Manager in Firefox.
