I just configured a new IMAP email account (Thunderbird 52.6). In the left-hand folders column, the name of the account shows OK. Under the account name is the "Inbox". But nothing else is showing. There is no "Sent" selection. There is no "Junk" or "Drafts" or "Archives" or "Trash" selection.

How can I make these all visible and selectable? (this is the second account I've installed on Thunderbird. The other account is a POP account and seems to be working OK).

Oh, I'm also noticing that, when I send an email mssg from this new account, I get a dialog box that says "Sending Message: Copying message to Sent folder" --- but the dialog box is frozen. Stuck. The original email and the dialog box are frozen. I have to select "Cancel" on the dialog box to make it go away, but then I'm back at my original message which doesn't seem to have been sent.

? This is very odd behavior. What am I missing?

Can you show us a screenshot of the folder pane?

I just deleted my Thunderbird account, thinking that re-installing from scratch would help.

So I reinstalled Thunderbird, and tried to setup just the IMAP account. Now everything seems to be working just fine on the single IMAP account. All the folders (Inbox, Trash, Sent, etc.) seem to be working OK.

But now I'm worried that if I add my POP account, everything will melt down again... Should it be a problem having a POP acct and IMAP acct on the same Thunderbird instance?
