I have 4 emails that I use with my Thunderbird. All work fine except for barn49@aol.com which the majority of incoming emails go directly to the trash file. I would say 98% go directly to the trash file. Would appreciate any help you may render. Dave Barnes

If I recall correctly there used to be a setting on the AOL web site to trash mail from folk not in your address book. Could that be what is happening?

I have the same problem, but the account that is a problem is a gmail account. We have at least three gmail accounts and this is the only one that does this. I keep having to go to my trash folder and sending emails back to my inbox. Any insight?

No you don't have the same problem as you do not have access to the AOL setting to dump all mail from folks not in your address book and I do not think Gmail has such a silly setting, or not that I am aware of. I suggest you ask your own question where relevant information like you using Gmail can be explored. One cause I have seen in the past was an anti virus anti phishing/ anti spam add-on in thunderbird that just messed up instead of doing it's job.
