Firefox no longer respects the previously set dark theme. Instead it displays the Windows 10 set color in tabs and the title bar. I want my dark theme backdaerk

Hello, Just before updating to Firefox 65.0 tonight, I had my dark theme for the title bar and tabs working just right. After updating, Firefox insists on displaying the Windows 10 blue title bar and tabs no matter how many times I try to reset the dark theme again in Add-Ons. It's only when the Firefox windows loses focus that it displays my dark theme, and when itit regains focus, the theme goes right back to Windows 10 blue. I am using Windows 10, latest updates, and Firefox 65.0, the new update. Is Firefox refusing to set dark themes now, is this a 'lost feature'?

Was that "userChrome.css" change?

Hello, I tried both styles in userChrome.css, as well as the simple dark theme, which has been working for me perfectly up to now, nothing works.

Up until now, simply using the basic Dark Theme has been working perfectly, not now. And themes set in userChrome.css, also failed.

hi, firefox 65 will now follow your systemwide windows 10 personalisation settings when you have set your accent color to be used for titlebars.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1504766#c24 describes a workaround for that though

Hello, This is a step in the right direction, but it only changes the currently selected tab to the desired theme, but leaves the title bar and all other tabs the system wide color. Can't an override in firefox, as a preference, be added to this?

Also, do I put both values in one string or two string values? Doing it both ways got the same results.

Thank you

Hello, As stated on the bugzilla you gave me, this is the main complaint on Firefox 65.0. Like everyone else, I want a dark theme and cannot get it, even with the workaround you gave me.

Please fix Firefox 65.0 to accept a dark theme to override the Windows col, color if wanted, or remove this 'feature'.

Hello again, Also, one more thing. Even when I was able to get the active tab to be black, the active tab still have a line across the top that is the Windows title bar color. You need to have a toggle in preferences to use the Windows title color or, like before, and which I want put back, it doesn't.

Thank you

Better yet, have the Windows title bar color be a theme, to go along side the default, light and dark themes. That way, if I want the Windows title bar color, I just select that theme. If I want the dark theme, that would work also, unlike now.

And here's a screenshot with firefox not having focus and therefore displaying the correct theme - except the disturbing Windows compliant color, blue line across the currently selected tab is still there, and I do not want that blue line there.
