I am unable to open links in gmail or outlook. Clicking on the link opens a tab in FireFox with an error message that says "This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to access cookies". I had this working but updated Firefox and it no longer works. It does work if I open my gmail account in Chrome, there the link opens to a new Chrome tab and works. Have tried refresh, deleting extensions, reinstalling. Thanks so much in advance for a response.

Hi tom.virgin, Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both Cookies and the Cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.

To clear Cache and Cookies for a specific site, do the following:

1. Navigate to the site. 2. Click on the padlock icon at the left end of the address bar. 3. At the bottom select Clear Cookies and Site Data...

If the page does not refresh automatically, click the Reload icon on your toolbar. __________________________________________________________________________

To clear Cache and Cookies globally, you can:

1. Click the Library button and choose History. 2. In the History menu, choose "Clear Recent History...". 3. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything". 4. From the details list, check Cookies and Cache and uncheck everything else. 5. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I did both of the above to clear history, cache and cookies and also on the website tuned off enhanced tracking protections. I am still getting the same message. Mystified as this works in Chrome but not in Firefox but of course prefer Firefox. All systems are updated and restart every day or so.
