New Tab url/link?
about:home brings you to the home page, so what would bring me to the newtab page? (ps: about:newtab dosen't seem to work)

The about:home page and the about:newtab page are the same Firefox Home page with the tiles, so it doesn't (shouldn't) make a difference which you use to get this Firefox Home page. In a long past those were different pages, but currently this is no longer the case.
