Since installing Thunderbird for windows v102.3.0 (32-bit), I can't dismiss a calendar event, which keeps looping to ask if I want to save or dismiss change for an "item changed on server" message. I rec'd the invite externally from Outlook. Neither option works; I can't delete the calendar entry either ... the event is stuck in an endless loop and will not dismiss. I'm now one day past the event date/time and still can't dismiss. Pls advise. Thank you.

There are multiple "dismiss" bugs for which fixes are being developed. It may take a couple weeks for those to reach release.

I Just Want to Join The voice of people who has this exact problem Wayne Mery explains. It's quite annoying that every time I update my Synology Calendar on my Linux Machine Thunderbird Calendar, It shows reminders for events I've already attended and can't dismiss.

Same problem here for several versions now (just updated to 102.9.0, Windows 10/64). Past events just keep popping up, hitting dismiss or snooze won't do anything, beside it shows the button being pressed and you can remove the popup only by closing the windows on the [x]. And then having it pop up a short while later. Only way to stop it is to delete the event, which doesn't allow for going back and do some kind of time keeping, for example for Zoom meetings and such...
