I really like this app. I always use it on desktop also but after a few last updates I noticed that battery usage of this app increased a lot and the percentage is very high. 1 hour screen time on youtube was 4% battery usage but on the firefox side it was 17 min / 11% battery usage. If you fix this It will be perfect for me. Here are the screenshots with different days. And I'm using sync feature and ublock addon. I always close the opened apps and I use deep sleep feature on my samsung device. And I forced to close the app. For now I stop using firefox for test purposes.

Check if you have up to date "Android WebView", "Google" in play store... and other related applications.

Everytying is already updated. Btw, I use samsung galaxy s23 and android 14. I switched to samsung internet browser and it uses very low battery usage, not like firefox. And also, i use adblock addon on samsung internet. I dont remember that firefox uses that much battery. I hope it will be fixed.

I have exactly the same issue, but maybe it's a Samsung thing? I have and S23 too. It wasn't like this in the past, firefox is almost always the top battery consumer according to the stats even when you don't use the app.
