I updated to 4.0 and now Firefox doesn't allow saving the open tabs. I already tried the suggested fixes and they didn't help.

If I have more than one tab open when I close Firefox all it does is warn me that I'm closing multiple tabs. It no longer asks if I want to save the open tabs.

Firefox 4 will now always save your tabs, and you can restore them next time by choosing "Restore Previous Session" from the History menu, or press the Restore button on Firefox's default home page.

If you'd like Firefox to ask whether to save tabs when you quit (like in previous versions), you can do that by typing "about:config" into the location bar and changing some settings. Details at:
