location-aware browsing not working correctly
Location-aware browsing works very good with chrome, it can locate me within 100m of my real location. I live in a big city and I see at least 10 access points around me.
Yet firefox is unable to locate me. It seems it is not able to gather the access point information, and is only sending my IP address to the google geolocation service, which then locates me somewhere in the city center.
I used this for testing: http://html5demos.com/geo
Could it be, because I use the 32bit firefox (7) on a 64bit Linux (Ubuntu 10.4)?
