A website I use NEVER had a 'remember me' option, but Firefox remembered it anyway. Any way to put it on my saved list w/o a 'remember me' function?

A website I use (Walthers, to be specific) NEVER had a 'Remember Me' function. However, Firefox remembered it anyway. I recently changed my P/W; and now I would like Firefox to remember it on my system, but obviously it won't. Is there any way to 'fool' the system to put the website on my machine with the appropriate P/W?

I don't understand how it could have gotten on my system with the correct website, username and p/w otherwise.

The 'Remember Me' function does work for those sites which have one.

If you click "Never" then Firefox creates an exception that you can remove to make Firefox offer once again to store the password, provided that there are no other causes for Firefox not asking like autocomplete=off for the input form or an extension preventing it.
