Firefox is crashing even in safe mode.
I have tried several suggestions found online, but none stop the crashing. It seems to work fine on static pages but crashes on any dynamic page. For example, weather.com crashes immediately even in safe mode with add-ons disabled. I have tried unistalling Firefox and reinstalling on two different occasions over the past two months, but the problem continues. I'm using Windows 7.

Many dynamic pages use the Flash plugin. This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with the Flash player. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
(B) In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
(3) Disable protected mode (Windows Vista/7/8)
See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
It's a new install so I have only the one crash report saved:

That crash signature is associated with a couple of bug reports. One of them mentions a problem if you are running an older version of Comodo Internet Security:
CIS 5.12 is out of date, users are supposed to upgrade to CIS 6.0 to get rid of this problem.

I don't know whether that is relevant to you. Perhaps the Flash issues are more pertinent.
Hello rt8and221, you can also try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) and check firefox again.
(If works in Windows Safe mode then you have a problem with other software, like security software (Comodo ?) or maybe a system driver, that is running on your computer).
thank you
Thank you. Firefox worked in Windows Safe mode. I don't have Comodo but I uninstalled all but the essentials and Firefox is working again.
