Until recently the user interface screen would appear when I logged on to Mozilla Firefox. I lost it after trying, unsuccessfully, to get road runner E-Mail to remember my address and password. I have not been able to restore the Fire Fox screen that I used successfully for several years. Since I am not very computer savvy simple directions would be helpful. Thanks.

Information in "How to set he home page" was not helpful because I do not have the Firefox Window with the Firefox button that must be clicked to get to the "Options" choice. How do I get the basic Firefox Window that lets me make configurations? The window I get now just lets me do searches, primarily with Bing. Help!

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top of the screen to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. Click the Maximize button (top right corner of the Navigation Toolbar) to leave full screen mode or right-click empty space on a toolbar and choose "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press the F11 key.

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file if this didn't help.

You might want to try changing your homepage and new tab to what you want it to be. To change home page: -Go to the drop down menu in the upper left-hand corner -If you don't have that click on "tools -Click on options either way -Go to the general tab, and there should be an option to change your homepage.

To change new tab: -In the address bar, type in "about:config" -If there is a warning, then click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" -In that address bar, type in "browser.newtab.url" -Right click on that URL, (the one above) and click modify, then type in the preferred address you want to show up in your new tabs.
