Can I get the new version to resemble an older Firefox?
I love Firefox to death, but today it was crashing a lot and forced me to reset it, leaving me with the new Chrome theme that I absolutely hate. Is there any way that users can make the new Firefox look like an older version, since Mozilla doesn't recommend downloading an older version?

The adblock button probably is in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Use Ctrl - / to display that bar, and then rightclick on the menu bar and choose Adjust (Image) and you will be able to drag its icon to where you want it.
Using that rightclick menu you can choose whether to display the menu bars.

The reset probably changed some settings that you weren't aware of. Can you give some examples (pictures help!) of what you see as 'new'?
hello painterkirby, i'm not sure what you're referring to by "Chrome theme" - the firefox user interface has pretty much looked the same for a few years now. (although there are plans of a future redesign which will unfortunately make firefox look more like chrome indeed, but those are currently not scheduled to land before 2014). maybe you had a custom theme installed before the reset?
As far as I know, it's the most recent version. I added the menu bar and took off the orange Firefox button, but I liked the version before this and unfortunately I don't know what number it is or remember how it looked off-hand. The tabs were below but the options/right click does not give me any tab options. I had to reinstall Adblock Plus and Noscript, but the Adblock needs to be up at the top with the download and home buttons.
I did have a custom theme, but it was just a Firefox skin at the top of the browser. I hadn't messed with any of the positions.
This support form is also a pain in the butt. I meant to reply with the picture.
for the moment you can still change the tabs-on-top behaviour - enter about:config into the firefox location bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up), search for the preference named browser.tabs.onTop & toggle it to false by double-clicking it.
and you can move any buttons into your favourite place like this: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars

Alright, I've got the positioning a little closer to how it was. I'll play with it some more now that I understand how to actually do it. I'm not good at adapting to change, as you can see. Thank you very much for your help.
Which order are you trying to achieve?
You can only move other items from one toolbar to another toolbar.
