Just wondering if there is any problem using Malwarebytes and Webroot Security with Firefox Malware Protection?

Note that a registered (?) version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware might include components that run in the background (possibly as a service) and monitor internet traffic and might interfere with Firefox.
I've seen some reports that Malwarebytes is involved in some Firefox issues.

Where did you get "Firefox Malware Protection" from? Never heard of it.

Firefox claims it offers this automatically if I understand correctly.

I think the user is referring to Firefox's Built in Phishing/Malware Protection

That is exactly what I am referring to. Will Firefox and Malwarebytes conflict and cause me unnecessary problems?

Firefox's built in protection only protects you while surfing. It's best to have an antivirus so it can protect your whole system as opposed to just Firefox.

But no, MalwareBytes and Firefox's built in protection shouldn't conflict with each other. If they do, it's the first time I'd hear of it.

No there is no conflict. Note that Malwarebytes is a Malware scanner, not an active anti-virus. You still need another anti-virus program.

I also suggest you update to Windows 8.1 update 1 to stay secure ;)

Thank you, Moses and Tyler! That was the info I was looking for!
