My firefox tabs has been crashing, and it has been getting far far worse. Practically none of the tab will open longer than 5 milliseconds. Other browsers works perfectly fine. I tried starting it on safe mode, no good. Tried clean reinstalling firefox, no good.

Can anyone help me why firefox is specifically crashing? About a month ago it worked perfectly fine.

Make sure all programs are up to date.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

I already tried the FireFox Safe Mode, but I tried it again. That didn't work at all. Still the same problem occurred. The MacBook Safe Reboot actually did fix the crashing problem.

That ould mean something else on your system is causing the problem.

This could be a font related issue.

You can check in Font Book for font issues like corrupted and duplicate fonts.
